The Unique Company began as an import and export business, moving goods for clients who needed a partner they could rely on to get things done properly. That origin still shapes how the group operates today: know the product, know the route, and take responsibility for the outcome.

What started as a single line of work has grown into six divisions, each built deliberately rather than opportunistically. A division launches when the knowledge, the supplier relationships, and the compliance groundwork are in place — because a name on a letterhead means nothing without the capability behind it.

Every division reports into one group structure. Finance, compliance, branding, and strategy are handled centrally, which keeps standards consistent and decisions quick. There is no layer between the client and the person accountable for the work; our leadership is hands-on by design.

We are a privately held South African company, registered with CIPC and based at Westway Office Park in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal. We work with clients across South Africa and source internationally on their behalf, wherever the product needs to come from.
